Workshop: 12/03/26 – Collage

We were delighted to host artist Christina Kalinowski an inspiring live demonstration on 12th March , presenting her workshop on Collage.

In this workshop, we worked with a wide range of printed materials including magazine pages, recycled artwork, offcuts, leaflets, and different wallpaper samples.
Using these varied surfaces, we created our own composition through a paper papier collé approach. We explored  how different colours, patterns, textures and images can be cut, layered and arranged to build something new.The focus is on experimenting and seeing how existing printed materials can be reworked into your own original piece. It’s a chance to play with composition, contrast, and scale and to discover unexpected combinations along the way.
